Adrian Agius

Mr. Adrian Agius graduated MD from the University of Malta in 1987 and carried out his post graduate training in Otolaryngyology in the United Kingdom, where he obtained his FRCS (Ed) in 1992. He is registered with the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom and is Senior Lecturer in ENT at the University of Malta.

He is currently President of the Malta Association of Otolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons. He is the Secretary General of the European Union of Medical Specialists in Otorhinolaryngology (UEMS-ORL) and is an examiner for the European Board. He is also the chairman for subspeciality training in Rhinology at the UEMS-ORL and was involved in the creation of the first pan-European Rhinology fellowship coordinated by the UEMS and the Confederation of European Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and has coordinated the Mediterranean Rhinoplasty course under the auspices of the Malta Institute for MEdical Education. Mr. Agius has also served on the Malta Specialist Accreditation Committeee.
